Email Marketing & Newsletter

Deliverables: Monthly newsletter, product updates, and promotional campaigns

I was responsible for creating and managing monthly newsletters that featured industry insights, product updates, and company news. I also developed promotional campaigns, including seasonal sales and market-specific offers.

I approached this task with readability in mind. So I always tailor my writing style to the target audience. Since many recipients spend most of their time in the field rather than behind the desk, I focused on clear and concise writing that quickly captures attention and conveys key points without unnecessary detail.

Beyond content creation, I handled audience segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to optimise engagement and make sure campaigns reached the right audiences with the right messages.

User Experience (UX) Writing

Deliverables: Texts for websites (i.e., homepage hero, product benefits, and feature explanations)

I wrote and refined the company website texts, including the homepage headlines, product explanations, and feature descriptions, during the website redesign project.

During the writing process, I put myself in the shoes of website visitors to ensure user-friendly texts that help them navigate the website and quickly understand the products, features, and benefits.

I collaborated closely with the web designer and product manager to provide feedback and recommendations to improve the website’s user experience and ensure all content aligned with the company’s tone of voice.

Marketing KPI Dashboard

Deliverables: A quarterly overview of the marketing department’s performance.

My objective was to create a one-stop place where managers can monitor the marketing department’s performance and progress. I have also helped develop the KPIs needed, such as engagement rate and click-through rate.

I make sure that any changes to KPIs should automatically influence the calculation of the quarterly result. For better visualization, I also arranged the graphs so they seamlessly reflect any changes to the monthly stats.

Content Planning and Strategy

Deliverables: Content schedule and strategy across multiple marketing channels, incl. LinkedIn

I developed ideas, wrote copies, took pictures, and also designed the visuals for contents across various marketing channels within the company.

For LinkedIn posts, I make sure to embody the company’s tone of voice and initiated the idea to produce more behind-the-scene contents to share more about the employees and who are making the product for the customers. The approach is to humanize the brand while ensuring that we are still engaging for the target market.
